Demo passage: Give your eyes a place to rest. Point at a paragraph, press a shortcut, and the words come to you here, one at a time. Your app stays where it is. Pause whenever you like; your sentence will wait.

Read at your pace.

Point at text on your Mac, press a shortcut, and read it one word at a time in a small, steady overlay. Your app stays where it is.

The first build for download is on its way.

Three moves, then back to work

  1. Point

Rest the pointer on a paragraph, a terminal response or a heading. If you have selected text, Fovlet reads exactly that.

  2. Press Control, Option and Space

Fovlet briefly outlines the passage it found and opens beside your pointer. Nothing moves in the app you were reading.

  3. Read

Words arrive at one fixed point, with a beat at every comma and a breath after each sentence. Escape puts you back where you were.

Made for walls of text

Four terminal windows, split panes, an agent that answers in essays. Fovlet takes one block at a time, so the rest of the screen can wait.

  • Headings bring their section. Point at a heading to read through to the next one of the same level.
  • Scroll to read further. Scroll over the reader to add the next paragraph, or back to drop it.
  • Hold to read. In push-to-read mode the passage loops while you hold the shortcut and disappears when you let go.
  • A quiet tick, if you like. A soft click on each word gives you a rhythm to follow. Turn it off any time.

Stays on your Mac

Fovlet reads text through macOS Accessibility, only when you press the shortcut. It doesn’t take screenshots, doesn’t ask for an account and doesn’t connect to the internet.

Most terminals, browsers and chat apps share their text this way. When an app doesn’t, Fovlet says so instead of guessing or reading your clipboard.

Fovlet for Mac

Fovlet is in testing on its first Macs. The download will appear here as soon as a build is signed and notarized by Apple.
